State Islamic Institute of Batusangkar, especially Sharia Faculty, as an Islamic college sees the need for a new formulation in Sharia sciences to deal with contemporary problematic because it is in line with the vision of Sharia Faculty: “To be advanced in the study and development of Sharia sciences with the integrative and inter-connective scientific reinforcement based on research and local wisdom”. In order to realize the vision, various scientific activities such as discussion forums and seminars are held. This International Seminar will be held as one of the efforts to find new format of Sharia sciences reconstruction, so as to meet the demands of times in various fields. The name of the event is International Conference on Humanity, Law and Sharia (ICHLaSh). The theme of the event is: Local Culture, Revelation and Principles of Moderation in Islamic Law.
